  • Clear Creek Seeds is my new favorite. Great selection when others were out of seed (Covid) and their prices remained the same.

  • First off, thank you for this list, I have purchased from many of these seed providers before but the one I keep going back to is the one from Poteet, Texas “David’s Garden Seeds!” They have a vast selection of seeds, many Heat Tolerant varieties and they are Veteran Run and owned. Love those guys!

  • You forgot David’s Garden Seeds near San Antonio, Texas. They are the best seed company in Texas, possibly in the entire region. They have every variety you could ever want and are often mentioned on the radio by our local gardening expert, Bob Webster. They’ve been around for 12 years or so and have a wonderful selection of seeds, all of them Non-GMO. https://davidsgardenseeds.com

  • David’s Garden Seeds is a 12 year old seed company that hand packs its own quality Non-GMO seeds right here in the heart of Texas. They are featured in Texas Gardener magazine each month and have been for around five years now, which is how we found them. We order their excellent seeds for our spring and our fall gardens and they always produce. They have somewhere around 1900 seed varieties and a brand new website which is so much more user friendly than their old one was so it is easy to order seeds online if you don’t live near Poteet, Texas. Check them out at https://davidsgardenseeds.com They have a nice farm with tours about an hour outside of San Antonio. We visited them earlier this year, about two hours from where I am.

  • Another good source for especially medicinal herb seeds, as well as other seeds is Strictly Medicinal Seeds in Oregon. https://strictlymedicinalseeds.com/ I have all three of Richo’s herb books, as well as one of his tincture presses.

Someone else mentioned J. L. Hudson, which is another I buy from.

I have bought a lot of seeds from Fedco over the years. They have (or used to have) a school seed sale option, which my homeschooled son did for a couple years. Buy in bulk, package, and sell. Lots of good learning in a project like that.
